Awards up to $5,000 to study abroad students.
Eligibility Requirements:
- be a US Citizen and a current degree-seeking undergraduate UMD student
- be receiving a Federal Pell Grant either at the time of application or during the term of your study abroad program or internship
- be studying or interning abroad for at least four weeks in one country (multi-country programs are eligible provided there is a minimum stay of four consecutive weeks in one country)
- be studying or interning abroad in any country except Cuba or a country on the U.S. Department of State's current Travel Warning list(link is external)
