The Fischell Department of Bioengineering hosted students, alumni, and friends of the department for a networking brunch on Sunday, April 24. This event was sponsored by the UMD chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES-UMD) and Maryland Engineering's RISE Leadership Academy.

Sunday, April 24 — 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The Fischell Department of Bioengineering invites department alumni, students, and friends to take part in a special networking brunch event hosted by the University of Maryland Chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES-UMD) and the Maryland Engineering RISE (Research, Instruction, and Service in Engineering) Leadership Academy. There is no cost to register for this event.

  • Date & Time: Sunday, April 24th, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (check-in opens as early as 10:45 a.m.)
  • Location: Zupnik Forum (Room #1101), A. James Clark Hall, 8278 Paint Branch Drive, College Park, MD
  • Parking: The nearest visitor parking lot is the Xfinity Visitor Lot on Paint Branch Drive. Please visit the UMD Parking website for details.
  • Registration changes: Given that this event will likely reach capacity, we kindly ask that you email bioe-comms@umd.edu with any changes to your registration status.
  • Health guidance: Masks are currently only required in certain settings, such as on UMD campus shuttles. Please read the UMD guidance regarding mask policies.
