The 2024 Senior Class Gift Committee is raising funds for the first ever Bioengineering Senior Class Gift at UMD. We invite the graduating class of 2024 to donate towards the BIOE Emergency Graduation Fund, which will financially support next year's graduating class in affording their graduation caps and gowns.

Leave your legacy and be a part of Bioengineering's first-ever senior class gift.
All proceeds from the class gift will go towards the BIOE Graduation Emergency Fund, which provides emergency funding to students who are unable to or may struggle to afford their graduation caps and gowns.
Every $93 raised will send a 2025 graduate across the stage in their full commencement regalia.
This fund was selected by a group of your peers on the 2024 Senior Class Gift Committee.
Make a one time, $20.24 donation to the senior class gift fund and receive a bioengineering-branded gift! Choose between a BIOE candle or a portable phone charger. Students who make a contribution of any amount to the Class Gift can receive a Fischell Department of Bioengineering sticker or magnet.
All Thank-You tokens can be picked up at the Senior Send-off event on Monday, May 6th.
Donations to the Senior Class Gift are being collected via the Fischell Department of Bioengineering Discretionary Fund.
If you are a family member making a donation in honor of your graduating senior, please mark that the donation is honor of them and include their name.

Steven Lehrer, a generous member of the Fischell Deparment of Bioengineering Advisory Board, has offered to match, dollar-for-dollar, all gifts made toward the Senior Class Gift before graduation.
This means that any donation toward the Senior Class Gift will be DOUBLED, and will the DOUBLE the impact you make on next year's graduating class.
