The Fischell Department of Bioengineering will host its annual Senior Capstone Design Competition/Fischell Festival on Monday, May 2nd, from 4:00 p.m. until ~7:30 p.m. During this in-person event, 24 Senior Capstone Design teams will present their novel projects to judges, attendees, peers, and general attendees.
Below is the agenda for this event. We kindly ask that you please RSVP in advance if you plan to attend any portion of this event, as food and beverages will be made available.
4:00 p.m. Welcome from BIOE Chair Dr. John Fisher (Zupnik Forum)
4:15 p.m. Capstone groups return to Leidos Innovation Lab
4:20–5:30 Primary Judging Round:
During this time, each Capstone group will present to 2–3 judges, individually. General attendees and mentors are invited to meet with any of the Capstone teams at this time, but we kindly ask that any judges present be given priority on asking questions.
5:30 p.m.–5:50 p.m. Capstone Class Photo (by South Side staircase in Clark Hall)
6:00 p.m. Finalist Presentations in the Forum
Judges will announce the four Capstone groups advancing to the finals. Each group will then present their project to all attendees/judges.
7:15 p.m. Awards Announced/Capstone Reception
