Enabling patient centric therapies through drug delivery
Drug delivery and devices technologies will transform how patients manage their health in the near future. As personalized health care strategies, companion diagnostics, and connected health are becoming more advanced, pharmaceutical and biotech companies are shifting to a “patient outcome”, or ‘pay for value’ based mode than selling a pill or an injection. Pharma models are therefore evolving towards creating total drug product solutions for patients rather than simply acting as a provider of dosage forms. Drug product development through novel delivery and connected health technologies plays an important role in this new paradigm. The emergence of biologics therapeutics have led to the need for novel patient centric devices for parenteral delivery. In this talk, drug delivery devices for antibodies in the area respiratory diseases will be discussed
