Dr. Jeffrey D. Hasday is Professor of Medicine, Pathology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Head of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Hasdays research is focused on thermobiology. Dr. Hasday will discuss two collaborative thermobiology research projects with Fischell Dept of Bioengineering faculty as well as a list of clinical problems in need of bioengineering solutions that were generated by the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care faculty. The seminar is intended to generate ideas for new collaborations between clinicians, biomedical investigators and bioengineers.
