Welcome new BIOE Faculty Member Sameer B. Shah

Dr. Sameer B. Shah will be joining the Bioengineering faculty as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2006. Dr. Shah comes to UMD from the University of California, San Diego, where he has been post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine since 2002. Dr. Shah earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego in 2002. His research interests lie primarily in neuro-muscular bioengineering, at the molecular, single cell, and organ level.
