RE-BAR 2025 January 14–15, 2025
The University of Maryland’s Fischell Department of Bioengineering will host a virtual graduate student research workshop, "Recognizing Excellence in Bioengineering Academic Research," on January 14 and 15, 2025, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. ET.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide guidance to graduate students as they prepare to transition into post-doctoral positions and eventually into academia. This workshop will feature faculty career path talks; how-to workshops on finding, interviewing for, and getting funding for a post-doc; and individual mentoring sessions with UMD faculty. Check out last year's agenda below!
Those interested in applying to present their research should have completed 3+ years of doctoral training in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, or a closely related field. Scroll down to view our FAQ.
